Recreation

We provide many recreational opportunities for our participants to enjoy. We celebrate every occasion and facilitate outings that enrich our participants’ lives and provide opportunities that otherwise may not be available.

At Corridor Community Options, we pride ourselves on being active members of the community, our recreation program is one of our favourite ways to encourage and support participants.

Types of Recreation offered

  • Community outings (Elmsdale Library program, museums, sporting events, etc.)

  • Physical activity (Municipality of East Hants Pool, EH Sportsplex field days, yoga, etc.)

  • Social recreation (games, Friendship Festival, group-based activities, etc.)

  • Creative recreation (art, crafts, dance parties, etc.)

  • Communication & connection (Pen Pal program with EDGE Group Scotland, card making, etc.)
